This bench was designed around the experience of bird-watching photographers, creating a comfortable resting space that allows two users to sit side by side while providing room for their equipment and tripods.
The concept was developed through the observation of the location, the users and the graceful movements of the flamingo. Its wings, posture and balance inspired the organic geometry of the bench, translating natural motion into a continuous sculptural form.
The design explores the relationship between object and environment, aiming to blend into the landscape rather than interrupt it. The use of pigmented concrete provides durability for outdoor conditions while maintaining a soft, natural appearance that connects with the colors and textures of the surrounding terrain.
